Join us for a fun evening of Mahjong open play! Mingle with fellow Mahjong enthusiasts and shop* from 7:00–7:15 PM, then get seated for a few rounds of friendly gameplay.
The Mahj Co. will provide all Mahjong tiles, mats and racks for open play. Players are asked to bring their own NMJL card. A limited number of cards will be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis.
Regular Play tickets are for experienced players who can confidently play Mahjong independently.
Guided Play tickets are for individuals who have played Mahjong a few times before this event (i.e. are familiar with the tiles and NMJL card), but still need some light assistance with rules/strategy from instructors at the event.
Note: Light snacks and sparkling water will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own wine or other beverage of choice.
Ticket Policy: Tickets are transferable but non-refundable.

Curious about American Mahjong? Join our beginner-friendly, two-part lesson series. Lesson one covers the rules, tiles, and the National Mah Jongg League card, plus a step-by-step walkthrough of a full game. Lesson two includes a quick recap followed by guided play, with instructors offering hands-on strategy and rule support as you play.
“Oh My Mahjong”–certified instructors will provide all the supplies you need to learn and play. Get ready to chat, connect, and dive head-first into what’s sure to become your newest obsession!
